Pastor Keon A. Gerow, M.Div

Catalyst: “A person that precipitates an event or change”.
Change: “A transformation; to make different in form; to transform; passing from one state or phase to another.”

Ours is a world that does not remain constant. One change or another affects nearly every facet of our lives. In the midst of this ever-increasing change, voices cry out still for more change. Yet in these times, God has singled out a servant who seeks to be an agent of change, Pastor Keon A. Gerow.

A man literally after God's own heart, Pastor Gerow understands one important life-altering thing: to be an agent of change, one must be fully surrendered to the fact that God alone sparks the flame of lasting spiritual change. Out of this understanding, God birthed a new vision in Pastor Gerow in September 2008. Catalyst for Change Church (a C.O.G.I.C. Ministry) is the dynamic new pastorate to which the Lord has called Pastor Gerow.

Preferring blue jeans instead of a Brooks Brothers suit in the pulpit, his 21st Century progressive vision has featured him in several publications including the Philadelphia Tribune, Divine Inspirations Magazine, and Never Let You Down. It is through this vision and understanding that Pastor Gerow, affectionately known as Pastor G, has developed an out of the box, unconventional, and cutting edge ministry model that has led to explosive growth

Currently, he sits on the boards of Lutheran Theological Seminary's Urban Theological Institute; FAVOR, Inc., a nonprofit organization for survivors of abuse; and The Education Center for Applied Maintenance, a nonprofit organization that awakens the genius of recovering addicts by cultivating job skills that will create independence in their lives. He is a former board member of several organizations including: The Leadership Center at Morehouse College, The Middle House, The Brisbane Institute, and We Are SEEDS, Inc., a Christian based non-profit program that serves as a mentor agent that assists at-risk young women with fulfilling their purpose. He is also a contributing writer for Above Rubies Magazine and member of the Kingdom Chamber of Commerce.

God's ministry through Pastor G has placed him before international audiences in Egypt, Jamaica, and South Africa, college campuses, the Maryland National Baptist Convention, the Pennsylvania Eastern Keystone Baptist Association, and the nationally acclaimed Martin Luther King March in Atlanta, GA. As well, he has received numerous honors from several civic and governmental officials alike. A single father, Pastor G earned a Bachelors degree from Morehouse College and a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
